BallyBet is now live in the state of Indiana, becoming the 13th online sports betting option in the Hoosier State. BallyBet already offers online sports betting in Colorado, Indiana, and Virginia, and there are more states planned in 2022.
The Indiana Gaming Commission officially approved BallyBet on December 10 with the option for BallyBet to launch as early as December 13. This is now the fourth online sportsbook to launch in Indiana this year, and it’s a company that has plenty of brand recognition.
Not only was BallyBet able to go live in Indiana this week, but it also announced a new partnership that is the first of its kind in the United States. BallyBet was able to reach an agreement with Major League Fishing, and that deal will go into effect in full in 2022.
Through this partnership, BallyBet becomes the official sports betting, daily fantasy sports, and free-to-play partner of MLF. This is the first pro bass fishing partnership in the United States, and the opportunities from this partnership are endless.
Live MLF events will be streamed on the BallyBet Sportsbook and mobile app, and BallyBet will also be the title sponsor of the Angler of the Year Award.
About Major League Fishing
Major League Fishing is a massive tournament organization, and there is a full calendar of events set to take place in 2022. The 2022 season is set to begin in late January, and that is when bettors in Indiana will first start to see this partnership in place.
The Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit Stop 1 is set to take place from January 27-30 at the Sam Rayburn Reservoir. The action will continue on February 5 as the MLF season will move to Monroe-West Monroe, Louisiana, for the Bass Pro Tour State One event.
MLF will host tournaments all throughout the year with stops throughout the United States.
BallyBet No Stranger to Partnerships
Even though BallyBet is still relatively new to the sports betting industry, this company has not had any trouble forming partnerships with professional leagues or teams. The partnership with MLF is the first of its kind, but BallyBet has followed other sportsbooks with similar deals.
BallyBet is already the official sports betting partner of MLB, NBA, NHL, and the WNBA. As BallyBet continues to expand into new states throughout the U.S., it could seek partnerships with individual professional teams.
Indiana Continues to Grow
The total sports betting handle in Indiana for November was $463.7 million, which set a new record. Online sports betting continues to account for more than 90 percent of the total wagers placed each month, and the launch of new sportsbooks has helped this growth.
Indiana is now in a tight battle with the state of Michigan for sports betting customers, but the Hoosier State should have even more growth in 2022. There are at least four more online sportsbooks set to launch next year, including some other big names.
