On Tuesday, FanDuel announced that they are offering a $10 credit to every user that has a daily fantasy sports and sportsbook account with the company. The credit comes when mainstream sports are returning over the next 10 days.
FanDuel has over eight million registered accounts, which means they will give away $80 million in site credit. This is a large number, but it is unlikely that most bettors will win their $10 back between daily fantasy sports or wagering it on a game. The $10 offer will expire if they do not use it by August 2.
“We are excited for the return of sports and wanted to give all of our customers a chance to get in on the action for free,” Mike Raffensperger, CMO of FanDuel Group, said in a statement. FanDuel is also offering sportsbook bettors their first $100 back, starting Tuesday, in the form of a risk-free bet.

FanDuel is handing out some of the best promotions with the return of the MLB, NBA, and NHL. Baseball is up first, which has Opening Day scheduled for this Thursday. The NBA will restart on July 30, and the NHL August 1.
