Playtech Launches iGaming Product with Bet365

Playtech partnering with Bet365 was able to get them some of the U.S. market share and will continue to do so with more partners. Playtech received a license to operate in New Jersey last month.

Bet365 entered New Jersey in 2019.

A Bet365 spokesperson said, “We’re excited to partner with Playtech to expand our content offering to the U.S. market. Given the range and caliber of Playtech’s content, being first to market it is a real differentiator for our platform. We look forward to developing upon our already solid partnership as we continue to grow our Casino offering.”

Playtech Market Entrance

Playtech is based out of London and received its license from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Earlier this year. After securing the license, Bet365 was finally able to go live with its online casino. Now, Playtech will have a partnership with Bet365 and others in New Jersey.

Playtech will fit right into the New Jersey market. They already offer similar slot games and other online casino games similar to what New Jersey has. The Playtech and Bet365 partnership will be perfect for the two to grow in the U.S. Playtech blew up in the U.S. for the Kingdoms Rise series.

“This is a significant moment for Playtech, and our development in the U.S.,” Playtech Chief Operating Officer Shimon Akad said in Thursday’s release. “Launching Playtech’s software in the U.S. is a landmark, and we are very pleased to be taking this step with one of our most trusted partners in bet365.”

Bet365 should already be familiar to the New Jersey customers. The online casino and sportsbook products have been available in the state. They are also partnered up with the Hard Rock Atlantic City and have made a killing in online casino revenue during the pandemic.

They still need to find a stronghold in market share. There is quite a bit of competition that they need to fight to get customers.

New Jersey iGaming

The New Jersey revenue numbers show how popular iGaming is becoming in New Jersey, especially with the pandemic in full swing in the U.S. PointsBet and Twin River announced an iGaming partnership in New Jersey as multiple sportsbooks and casinos try to get in on the action.

iGaming could be the future of gambling with everything going online. The New Jersey iGaming numbers are already proving to show how big the industry can be, especially with Atlantic City casinos still operating at limited capacity.

Overall, it would not be surprising if more iGaming partnerships popped up, not only in New Jersey but in other parts of the U.S. as well.
