William Hill’s online casino officially goes live in New Jersey. The U.K. sports betting operator has a soft launch going for their mobile casino in New Jersey and operating under Tropicana AC. You can see the “William Hill Casino is Now Live” across the IOS mobile betting app.

They also have a minimal gaming selection, as this is a soft launch. They aren’t making a formal announcement and will be adding games as the online casino continues.

With limited games and no official launch announcement, William Hill’s online casino product will be small starting, but will most likely grow by the end of the year. They have said more games are coming, but the soft launch is to make sure everything is operating properly before more of the public gets ahold of the online casino.

What to Expect from William Hill’s Online Casino?

As of writing this, there is not much that William Hill has to offer just yet. Their gaming situation is very limited, as other online casino apps have better selections.

William Hill’s online casino only had American Roulette, Blackjack, Casino Hold ’em Poker, Single Deck Blackjack, and European Roulette. Only having five games is not great, but again, William Hill says this is a soft launch to their online casino and will be adding more games along the way.

The U.K. sports betting operator turned online casino operator is asking for new customers how they are enjoying the games. There is a good chance that if the feedback is positive early on, more games will be added.

The desktop version does have more games, however. There are more games and some popular slots games to play like Starburst, Mercy of the Gods, and Divine Fortune.

These games are popular, and William Hill should have more games to come for the desktop and online casino app shortly.

One nice feature William Hill will have for its casino and sportsbook customers is their shared casino wallet. This will allow customers to transfer funds between the casino and sportsbook on the William Hill mobile app. DraftKings has a similar feature that has become popular among sportsbooks and online casinos from the same gaming company.

Can William Hill Succeed in New Jersey?

William Hill has finally launched in New Jersey after months of anticipation to do so. The launch comes shortly after Caesar’s bought out William Hill for $3.7 billion last week. The deal should wrap up in 2021, and also makes sense as William Hill operates a sportsbook at Caesar’s in Atlantic City.

Now, the two will partner in the online casino industry that has exploded during the coronavirus outbreak. It might take a little bit, but William Hill should succeed in New Jersey and expand the online casino to other states.

In August, New Jersey saw over $85 million spent in online casino games, and have had four straight months of revenue hitting over $80 million. William Hill should help grow revenue over the coming months once the casino adds more games and gets more traction.
